Electronic Throttle Valves enable the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to control the volume of both fuel and air delivered to the engine, resulting in smooth, natural engine response and output. Electronic Cruise Control is also made possible by the advanced functioning of Electronic Throttle Valves.

Assist & Slipper Clutch technology offers a comfortably light lever pull and back-torque limiting function. When excessive engine braking occurs the slipper cam relieves pressure on the clutch plates to help prevent the rear tire from hopping or skidding.

Longer overall gearing optimizes power feel for the higher-displacement engine. Gear ratios were chosen to accommodate a wide range of riding situations, including sport riding, highway cruising, and riding fully loaded with passenger and luggage.

The Versys® 1100 SE ABS motorcycle's advanced suspension system adapts to riding conditions, providing the ideal amount of damping in real time. The system incorporates Showa's Skyhook Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (EERA) technology, carefully tuned by Kawasaki engineers to preserve a sporty riding character while delivering a smoother ride. EERA continually adapts to the road surface in real time to enable light steering on highways and a more planted feel in wet conditions.

With rider comfort in mind, a narrowly constructed aluminum twin-tube frame uses the engine as a stressed member, resulting in a planted feeling and light, nimble handling due to overall weight reduction. A steel-trellis subframe enables a high payload for riding with a passenger or loading up gear—or both.

17-in 6-spoke wheels provide ride comfort across a variety of road conditions and a light weight for quick, sporty handling.

Highly rigid 4-piston, radial mount, monobloc front brake calipers grip large 310mm discs and pair with a radial-pump front brake master cylinder to produce superb feel and potent stopping power. A new larger 260mm rear brake disc and new rear caliper add even more stopping capability when needed most.

A Bluetooth® chip built into the instrument panel lets you connect to your motorcycle wirelessly. Using smartphone connectivity (via RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE*) several instrument functions can be accessed allowing you to view vehicle info, riding log, phone notifications, tuning of general settings, Kawasaki Riding Management, and navigation.

The Versys® 1100 SE ABS motorcycle is available with new smartphone connectivity with voice control using RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE*. Experience even more freedom to focus on the ride while being totally connected.

LED cornering lights are thoughtfully built into the shrouds, helping illuminate the road when cornering. Each of the three lights has a fixed direction and is activated based on lean angle. As the bike leans over, the lights come on in sequential order, creating a wider illuminated path in the direction the bike is heading.

All-digital thin-film transistor (TFT) full-color instrumentation gives you clear visibility on vital information from your motorcycle. Paired with the analogue-style tachometer, the cockpit achieves a high-tech design while maintaining an adventure-ready sense of utility.

Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) covers a wide range of riding conditions, offering enhanced sport riding performance and confidence while you’re on the road. When turned on, you can select from three modes to choose the degree in which each mode intervenes during riding.

The Versys® 1100 SE ABS utilizes advanced technology to deliver superior cornering performance. The Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF) uses input from the IMU to enable cornering management, which monitors engine and chassis parameters to assist riders in holding their intended line through corners.

Kawasaki’s supersport-grade, high-precision brake management system is standard on the Versys® 1100 SE ABS motorcycle. High-precision brake pressure control enables the hydraulic pressure to be modulated in much smaller increments than standard ABS systems, conserving lever feel when Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS) is active and ensuring that ABS pulses feel light.

With versatility in mind, the Versys® 1100 SE ABS motorcycle comes with 2 power modes: Full and Low—allowing you to select power delivery to suit your preference and riding conditions.

Integrated Riding Modes allow you to adjust traction control, power delivery, and suspension character at the touch of a button, delivering confident riding in a variety of situations.

A spacious, upright riding position offers a high level of motorcycle control in various conditions, while contributing to superb rider comfort. Additionally, thick seat padding keeps both rider and passenger in all-day comfort, mile after mile.

The Versys® 1100 SE ABS motorcycle offers bright and white lighting via twin LED headlamps, an LED taillight that displays a dual “H” pattern with position lamp engaged, and compact LED turn signals that complement the sleek lines of bodywork. License plate lighting completes the all-LED package, more than ready to light up the night.

For optimal control and comfort, a 6-way adjustable brake lever and a 5-way adjustable clutch lever allow you to choose the position that suits your hand size and preference.

The Versys® 1100 SE ABS motorcycle’s Highly Durable Paint and Highly Durable Matte Paint feature a special coat that allows certain types of scratches to repair themselves, enabling the paint to maintain its high-quality finish.

Superb fuel efficiency combined with a 5.5-gal fuel tank means less stops at the pump and outstanding cruising range.

The large adjustable windscreen is vented to smooth the airflow and reduce buffeting. A stepless adjustment system allows 4 height positions to be tailored to your preference without the use of tools.

Heated grips provide exceptional comfort on chilly days to keep your hands in top form, while hand guards help protect from airborne inconveniences on the open road.
